Lakeside Kids

 

Wednesdays, 10-11AM
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Come to Monona Terrace on Wednesday mornings and enjoy this eclectic and educational program designed for children ages four and up. A wide variety of local performers, artists, and organizations provide entertainment, hands-on fun, and learning. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor programs will be moved inside.  Please call 608.261.4000 after 8:30 a.m. the day of the event for program location.

Can you improve a room makeover project by rethinking how the space is used? How about creating a mood with color?  Interior design is rewarding and exciting, especially when the project reflects your creative personality. Join us and be inspired! Girl Scouts will receive a Monona Terrace patch.

"Disc"overy Activity and Building Tour

Open to all levels - dates and times can be customized for the group. Register with Monona Terrace $4/scout

This hands-on team activity challenges your troop to build large scale structures with cardboard discs. You’ll learn about construction as you build the highest tower and the strongest dome. Then go on a guided tour to explore how Monona Terrace was designed and constructed.

 

Scavenger Hunt

Open to Cadets, Senior and Ambassadors - dates and times can be customized for your group. Register with Monona Terrace $8/scout.

This exciting adventure challenges you to trivia, riddles, photos and checkpoints, all while learning about architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his Monona Terrace project.

One smart phone per team is required. Prizes awarded to the winning team!
